how hard isit to change a cam on a xud? im pretty sure you just have to

1. put the locking pins in the flywheel and pump
2. release belt tension
3. undo the 3 rocker cover bolts
4.undo the 6 bolts that hold the cam in place
5. put the new cam on
then bolt it back down then
6. put every thing back together not forgetting to do the timing onit

can anyone confirm if this is correct or not

thanks loads to any good advice

need to remove the vac pump and cam pulley.

also replace cam seal.

also imo worth once cam removed turning crank back half turn until you replace the cam and time the cam up...otherwise you may push a valve into a piston!

Yeh defo make sure you do this, else you'll find because the cam could be in any position that you end up bolting it down into the valves/pistons. You'll more than likely snap the cam first though :p valves are stupidly hard to bend when they're sat vertically, normally only done with starter/inertia, but yeh make sure you rotate the motor back 90 degrees to clear valves and then figure out position later.

Dont need to remove the cam pulley, just the rocker cover and camshaft braces.
