it's about the same, just shitty in different ways, it's a much nicer place to be in the drivers seat, it has less (LOL) cargo capacity than the pug, i could at least get a washing machine in the yell...

prices for AX's have gone way up in the last couple of years, finding GT/GTi spec ones in good complete condition is near enough impossible lol few on ebay over the last 6 months have sold for 1500...

the 1.6 rallye engine is the same as yours with a slightly different head on it, and a different map, it's the same as a saxo VTR engine, so there may be a slight improvement, but not a lot, the wirin...

yeah, if you need it soon though it'd be best to either just buy another pattern one and hope for the best, or get a different o-ring (a second hand one would need a new one anyway)

yeah sounds like they've sent the wrong one, or one that is 'compatible' i've found that the o-rings can vary in size, and get one that's too small/thin, it'll leak and revv like it has in your ca...

best to go for the 16v then if you want more power and are determined to keep the TU engine, the 8v can be turbocharged, but the 16v comes with 120 as standard and i've seen some good results by tunin...

Hi manousos, physically, any of the TU engine range will bolt in, using the engine mounts that you already have on your 1.6, the gearbox will fit, and the 8 valve engines share the exhaust manifo...

the Ph3 has a fuel pressure regulator at the tank, so it only needs a feed, get a PH3 fuel pump and reg imo, save the pissing around like i had with fuel pressures / finding the right rail for the job...

sounds like a flat battery to me? from the lights being on while no key, i'd suggest it's charging system related (bad diode packs in the ALT can flatten a battery Fast), charge the battery, reconnect...

no point, the 1.1 and 1.4 heads are essentially identical, the only difference is the runner diameter on the exhaust iirc, couple of mm smaller,
