The car will run on 3 cylinders, take an injector line off and reposition it so its sticking up, and put the injector on the end - this means you'll visibly be able to see if its firing.

You have enough fuel if its smoking. Sounds like you're not getting enough air, or the timing of the fuel is off, probably too late being injected - try advancing pump a tad. The 9mm will supply heaps... |

Ideally smaller turbo / later generation is better for 4x4 - keep torque low down RPM is better for 4x4 definitely.
Sounds like you just need to tweak your boost / fuel up slightly. |

As with all VNT's, upto 800 should be fine.
I have seen 1000+ many times with no issues for short bursts, but 800 seems safe for long hauls.
1300 is when stuff can go real wobbly and ... |

You are worrying about the temps far too much, there is nothing abnormal about any of those ... also sounds like you've identified an issue with airflow so that can only offer a magnitude of improveme... |
