Thread: 306 2.0 HDI has been running fine without coolant for months????
Post: RE: 306 2.0 HDI has been running fine without cool...
The DW10's don't run that hot under normal conditions anyway.
However, the engine temp sensor is located at the top of the engine, screwed into the thermostat housing so it won't give you proper read... |

Thread: What turbo?
Post: RE: What turbo?
I finally got around to taking a picture of the turbo to try and identify it.
I'm guessing this would be a KKK K03s then (see below picture)?
I'd like to be sure before ordering and taking everythin... |

Thread: I'm having trouble pulling off.
Post: RE: I'm having trouble pulling off.
I've got a similar speedo issue but only when it's cold and/or wet, but I agree that shouldn't cause (nearly)stalling the engine. (If anyone has a suggestion on what might cause the speedo issue, i'd ... |

Thread: What turbo?
Post: RE: What turbo?
So basically you won't know until you're able to dig it out of the engine bay. That's kind of..... inconvenient. :(
Edit: so what's the actual difference? Am I correct in assuming that the K03 has a ... |

Hi all,
My HDi's turbo has a *slight* oil leak and I'm looking to replace the turbo cartridge/core.
However, I see some conflicting information online and in the Haynes manual as some say it's a g... |

Actually, louvring the bonnet might not be such a bad idea. Also, it looks awesome when done right |

It all just sounds like a bad airflow problem to me.
While air getting in is very important, it also has to go somewhere. Are you sure there is enough room between the rad and the engine for good air... |

Then engine seems to run smoother overall, so job done. I'll keep the old ... |

Thread: tacho glitch

The tacho is driven by the flywheel sensor (crankshaft position sensor). It feeds it's data to the ECU, which in turn sends a signal to the tacho.
Since there's no drop in engine RPM I'd rule that ou... |

The lp pump is controller by the ECU. It switches the brown or black relay behind the ECU on when the ignition is turned on and switches off after about 6 seconds. Also, fuse #35 (I beleive) under the... |

Just a couple of ideas, might not be useful (or coherent for that matter :P)
To my knowledge a loss of keycode should not interfere with the lp pump, the immobiliser merely shuts off the injectors.
