I’d agree if I hadn’t fitted a set of genuine Bosch ones about 12 months ago. Suppose I better test them just in case but I’m confident it’s not advancing the injection. Rich

Well, to update this, The car now has new front discs and pads, which weren't required since the old ones were much less than 50% worn, never mind completely shot as the PO's mechanic had informed...

Pretty sure that's a 760 and the engine is either the original PRV v6 which has been modified a fair bit or is maybe a v8 or some sort? FYI, the only Volvo rwd cars that ever had 2.4 litre engines ...
