A quick update on my progress recently, I have sorted out my fuel pump issues...threw away the old pump and replaced it with this: Got my clean on and gave it an ultrasonic bath and rebuild :) ...

Yeah Ive done that, just seems to introduce a massive delay in the throttle if I drop it back anymore splines...

The reason everyone missed it at FCS was because it wasn't there  :itwasntme: I was hoping to take it but the fuel pump was in pieces on the bench on the Friday before the show so I had to drive the B...

Its not my daily driver :) so I'm not too concerned when it inevitably does throw a rod out the block! gives me an excuse to re-build another engine :D

Would have liked more room! The compressor is about 10mm from the steering UJ :S

Grrr :dodgy: car wont start at all now, just plumes out white smoke!! Swapped out the injectors for the lucas ones, it fired up for about 2 seconds and then stopped, now its not smoking at all :huh: d...

Ok Jimbo will do :) was a bit weary at first in case it ran away but will make sure I can stall it if it does! Looks like the injector on cylinder one is weeping slightly so that may be the source ...

It would only be temporary to source the problem, would then get a replacement bosch if I found a faulty one :)

Good news! Its not the dacia sandero... I cracked off the injector lines at the injectors and turned it over for a while, there was some air in the lines I think! It now starts :D but doesn't idle, ...
