These usually come out around the 180 bhp mark if you do everything properly and the engine is in good condition.

Yes it shouldn't be too complicated to do the 1.4 if it uses the same ECU as the 1.6. Have a look and drop me an email when you're ready for it.

On a 63 plate you're going to be on an EDC17 Tri core ECU surely?
It's a different turbo to the older 1.4 too, does look very tiny.

I've not seen a low mileage 2.0 306 in my garage for years, they all handle it fine as long as you've maintained it well. |

Nope, mine was just the gt2052V turbo 3 bar map and the worlds biggest intercooler.
Fuel pump on the 1.6 can provide a lot of fuel, and a lot of pressure so no need to upgrade it.

If it's smokes white on cold start it's the injectors.
Replace with low mileage injectors, don't use refurbished injectors they only last a few months and then you'll have problems again. |

Is the egr blanked? And have you ran an injector leak off test?
For the regulator I leave it to soak in thinners for 20 mins with the o rings removed. Carb cleaner is good too.

Pump and MAF look ok to me. A good pump usually gets to a max of 44% duty cycle on a standard map, so it could be a tiny bit worn, but nothing to worry about unless it struggles once remapped. If it i... |

There are two different MAFs, the big one does have a different calibration. Some of the 2.2 engines come with the small MAF too.
The small one can flow 570 Kg/hr, the other is 770Kg/hr |

There are two types, one unbolts, and one you need to cut it open and weld it.
It's actually easier when you cut it open as you can pull the whole lump out rather than drilling it, but you'll need ... |

Forgot about this one, glad you got it running. Texton box on the 306s, BSI on everything else. It's the same thing, just the box which links the immobiliser to the engine ECU.

I actually worked for this project to get their engine running. The way they conducted the before and after tests were not in any way comparable, and the product is not good to put in your fuel system... |

GT2052S is good for 180 BHP with 24-25 psi of boost on the 2.0 HDI 8V.
Any more than that and you'll have back pressure problems and the lifters will start collapsing or you'll snap a rocker.

It's only worth doing if you actually get a stage 2 map, otherwise you will just have the stage 1 power, maybe 1 to 2 bhp more thanks to the cooler charge. |
