This problem been fixed now. So anybody else having problems even when fitted new handbrake cables, discs, pads and calipers. The brake pads need to be free to move. I wire brushed the brake holder...

I've just got 900 miles on my 306 hdi stage 1 from full tank 60 litres of diesel to empty. So 60L fuel tank and 900 miles what does that come to in mpg? Thanks

The other thing fuel pumps will struggle with old blocked fuel filters. The fuel strainer on the fuel pump if that's clogged up and partially blocked that will cause a fuel pump to make a lot of noise...

I would check the relays where the fan is in a triangle cover make sure there not rusted or melted. It's also best to check the large relays under the dash as well I had one of these look burning out....
