Additionally I noticed today after a completely cold start the temp went straight to 80 within seconds of starting the engine, whereas normally it would take 5 mins before it would even register movem... |

I've noticed rising coolant temps over the past 3 days, at first it went to 93 then today to 96-97.

i've replaced my head gasket and after refitting everything upon first starting it have a coolant leak from the transmission side of the engine.
i was in a rush when testing it so made a quick vide... |

thanks for all the advice chaps. i finally had chance to read up on the various screws and have a go today.
it looks like the mechanic just wound the max fuel screw out massively hence all the smoke ... |

the td04 has been rebuilt so shouldn't be a problem, also used all new boost pipes, gaskets, clips etc.
there's no blue or white smoke on start up or during running, and at idle no smoke. under lig... |

hey guys,
i used to be running a t2 turbo with bosch pump, before i bought the car it had already been tuned to make 17psi and even driven hard it returned 450 miles to a tank and under hard accelera... |

mine used to vibrate like this and every bolt was fitted and torqued properly, had all the mounts replaced, still did it. eventually when i swapped the engine but kept the same mounts etc it stopped. ... |
