I had this same issue on a Ph2 around 10 years ago, turned out it was the control box under the rear seats. Iirc I had to bridge a green wire to get it to work. What Phase is it?

Pete on 306Cab.com used to sell an uprated mechanism. Not sure he's still on there or even trading but it's worth a shot. Be prepared to pay around £100 for a complete unit mind having broken around...

Nice, Insurance I'd suggest Footman James.. My 4 classic cars are through them, 1993 106 Roland Garros-1991 205 Cabriolet my 1989 Cabriolet & my 1989 Diesel 205 The whole policy is £82 fully comp.....
