Shame I have just scrapped a bare roof frame, having broke in excess of 30 of these over the last 10 years I only came across 3 like yours.
Looks like a replacement roof is needed.

I had this same issue on a Ph2 around 10 years ago, turned out it was the control box under the rear seats. Iirc I had to bridge a green wire to get it to work.
What Phase is it? |

Pete on 306Cab.com used to sell an uprated mechanism.
Not sure he's still on there or even trading but it's worth a shot.
Be prepared to pay around £100 for a complete unit mind having broken around... |

Having broken around 20 Cabriolets over the last few years, they are extremely easy to do.
You and another pair of hands will be fine, there are 2 bolts each side that need to be fully removed and 1... |

I personally broke 2 S1 Rolands last year which is a bit gutting but i needed parts for mine. |
