improve air density on the intake side and reduce egts . so the most oveous way is an intercooler but its going to have to be testing to fined out a combo that will work

we had a big problem some time ago with drev waxing up in winter, so it is a thing in the uk and it can get cold enough.

how long has it been in storage for, have you tryed putting a new a fuel filter in as diesel gums up parts so it may just need to run.

its been a simler exsperence acros three vehicles all but the current one have had it all throne at them, so two have had new thermostats and coolent flushes and there was no change

if you are despret you can use a hdi relay but the dash light will not light up but the glow plugs will

the lift pumps do go weak, i had one that gave me a wird pulsing idle and mae the engine run like crap.

i would be saying its the hi or low presher fuel pump. i have a low presher pump in my project that i can bring to you and try it depends on where you are

if your struggling with gear boxes and clutches have a look at swapping to an ml6 from a 136hdi the stock clutch holds 320nm, the only problem is that its not cheep or quick but the box is good for 40...

The immobilizer controls the injector drivers in the ECU so there nothing to worry about on that side no need to swap anything I've never heard of a hdi engine running away

i was recomended a gtd2060vzk, most go for a vacume vnt as its less work but there are some about thay will do the convertion for you most likley the best thing for you would be a gt17v or a gt 14v

first put a bit of drinks can in to the egr flange on the intake to blank it to check its broken, if that makes it all better then you can fit a new one
