I fitted a slightly later 1.4 one that had a lower final drive which helped somewhat - 4.54 vs the original 4.29 - but mine was a single linkage box, not the late 3 linkage, so my options were pretty ...

I know there's at least one in the UK finished because he was asking us for setup help when we put the engine in the back of the racer years ago.

All sold. If anyone still wants one, PM, I can custom make one-offs when I have other poly stuff running anyway.

If you're certain after that it was bled then I'm guessing the head gasket wasn't done properly - have you checked the compression?

It wouldn't suddenly need reprograming for idle control either unless there was something wrong elsewhere, ECU's don't just randomly loose settings like that. I'd be more worried about what they did...

I seriously doubt it was the ECU to start with. You've got a leak from the valve stem seals it says therre which would be most of the issue.

You shouldn't need to rev the engine at all to bleed the top heaters, your bottle is not filled up enough if that's the case, you'll just push the air around the engine. Also, you need to leave it i...

Head gasket on a 1.4 TU is a piece of piss, last time I swapped my head over it took me about an hour and most of that was draining oil/water and setting tappets.
