GI: Oem XUD FMIC £130 Posted - Jenkosowls - 05-01-2013 Gauging interest on my OEM FMIC for the XUD DT this has been a decent setup and has powered my DT for a proven 173bhp running 30psi of boost. currently the car is back on a tmic and im considering bigger things so im in no real rush to sell unless some one offers the asking price. Price some may consider high but when you consider the time and effort it takes to source some of this stuff can be costly and take a while. This is a bolt on kit everything possible will be supplied the setup is a pretty neat setup and not in your face and is very stealthy ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() http://s382.beta.photobucket.com/user/pug306lx/media/a7accc53.jpg.html The setup now has been used a few months so wont look as clean as in the pics above but is in good working order the manifold is the one that clears the m/c so no rubbing issues looking at £200 without xantia manifold or £230 with xantia manifold RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Dave - 07-01-2013 Nice setup! bit pricey, but each to their own! RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Piggy - 07-01-2013 That is a bit expensive....good bolt on though RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - cwspellowe - 07-01-2013 As said that's way overpriced imo. Yeah it's a tidy install but nothing there is particularly rare and can be sourced individually much cheaper than that. If you're asking for your money back on parts then fair enough but it seems as though you're asking for extra money because it's a neat install.. RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - ginge191 - 07-01-2013 for £230 you could buy a xantia/406, take the FMIC setup and scrap the rest ![]() RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Piggy - 07-01-2013 (07-01-2013, 06:06 PM)ginge191 Wrote: for £230 you could buy a xantia/406, take the FMIC setup and scrap the rest and make your 230 back on parts and scrap!!! RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Jenkosowls - 07-01-2013 Price includes postage which will be heavy and 2 parcels more than likely. It's priced way it is as I'm in no rush to sell it Open to offers too RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Piggy - 07-01-2013 My hermes would do all that, if under 15kg, for 8quid plus vat! So if I pay postage....my offer is 80quid RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Jenkosowls - 07-01-2013 It's not going to be under 15kg and I wouldn't touch my Hermes at all RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Ricky - 07-01-2013 If you have this in Feb, I will take it.. (as long as I get bonus at work!) RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - silverzx - 07-01-2013 Some people would rather pay the extra than spend weeks fannying around with guess work of what parts / pipes / diameters / bends etc they need. Only downside is its mostly second hand piping (lack of alu/SS). GLWTS, looks tidy mate. RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Connor - 07-01-2013 My hermes are useless twunts... Oh yeah, I've left you parcel in a secure location... Outside your front door... In a block of flats... Guess what? No it wasn't there! RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Ben - 07-01-2013 I'm yet to find a courier company that I would actually trust. The reason they are so much cheaper than royal mail is because stuff gets lost so often! RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - karl1989 - 07-01-2013 why you back on TMIC? RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - C2K - 09-01-2013 (07-01-2013, 08:47 PM)Ben Wrote: I'm yet to find a courier company that I would actually trust. The reason they are so much cheaper than royal mail is because stuff gets lost so often! That's a very sweeping statement. I've sent and received hundreds of parcels in the last 4 years and never had one go missing either way. Royal fail on the other hand have lost three packages of mine in the last 6 months. RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Piggy - 09-01-2013 royal fail suck had them lose stuff thats been signed for by the postman and they only offered a refund for the postage!! MYhermes local pickup/delivery guy is good...network can be a bit slow sometimes. They damaged one item once but I had a full refund and compensation within 2weeka RE: GI: Oem XUD FMIC - Rippthrough - 09-01-2013 (07-01-2013, 07:40 PM)silverzx Wrote: Only downside is its mostly second hand piping (lack of alu/SS). Actually, the stuff Jenks has painted black at the front is stainless steel. He just wanted it to look OEM and painted it. You could polish it back up if you really wanted to I suppose.
