Fuel pump question - Conor_DTS - 25-12-2012

Screwed my bosch pump last week, gave it half a turn and it made a good bit of difference but there was very little smoke out of it so i gave it another half turn and it is going good now, also gave the boost compensator 1.5 turns. My last 306 had a lucas pump screwed half a turn and it was twice as smokey as my 306 is now, is this normal? is the lucas max fuel screw different to the bosch?

ideally you want as little smoke as possible on boost, after turning up the fuel on a bosch you should wind out the lda pin to reduce off boost smoke, winding it out means more fuel on boost so you can make significant gains without it been stupidly smokey
