RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - karl1989 - 04-12-2012

what?

RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - CJ_Derv - 04-12-2012

Dont think anyones run one of them because of the inlet tbh

That inlet would make it very awkward to mount, make sure you know how your going to fit it and pipe it before you go ahead.

Yeah, there's a reason everyone gets the front entry turbos...

Its the subaru one with the side entry...bitch to fit as it is

RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - karl1989 - 04-12-2012

not sure what im guna do with it yet. will it hit the bulkhead?

RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - Piggy - 04-12-2012

Possibly...more of an issue is the inlet pointing 90degrees the wrong way!

Pics before purchase ftw!

You could put a seive over the end and live dangerously Big Grin

RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - HDIkyle - 04-12-2012

Can't you just get a housing off a f*cked turbo and pop that on while its been clocked?

If the cartridge is in good condition then this is what I would do, otherwise just stick it on ebay and except you may make a loss on it

RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - HDIkyle - 05-12-2012

Just battery mount it!

I did mention this myself, anyone running like this as I know a lot run no filter so atleast big stuff won't get in

RE: anyone used or using this type of TDO4 - CJ_Derv - 05-12-2012

I dont run a filter on mine, the only issue i can see is the inlet would be pointing towards the bulkhead, IMO may be more likely to pick something up but would be tight against bulkhead too is say,

I dont know how grinding it back would go as youd probably be best grinding halfway through the 90

And as for swapping the inlet housing it has to have the same wheel etc

im thinking of grinding it down abit just so it misses bulkhead if it touches. might get some strong mesh with little holes so it wont suck anything in

It doesnt stick out any further than the rest so i wouldnt of thought it would catch :p
