Heater problem - wiggy - 01-12-2012

Heaters have just stoped working, its only blowing on number 4 and blowing cold air doesnt get warm at all!

Anyone got any ideas?

resistor pack think its under the bonnet top right hand side under the heater motor vent grill?

Sounds like 2 issues!

Only blowing on number 4 is likely to be the resistor pack. I take it you mean theres nothing until you turn to number 4 and then it blows your face off.

But only blowing cold is likely to be a blocked heater matrix....I take it the engine was warm when you tried it lol - mine took ages to heat up today with it being so cold outside.

Unless the heater panel itself is broken or you've knocked one of the cables off the back.

As tom says it sounds as if you have 2 issues. But blower speed is defo the resiter pack under the skuttle panel

Whats the resistor pack guna cost me? How would I see if its a blockage? Owt I can do or isit a new matrix?
