RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 04-03-2013 decided it was time to switch back to standard wheels and wack the C5s on... before: after: PHOTOSHOPPERS: could someone wack some of these on for me??; and lower it by 30/40mm at same time be ace!! FYI: the picasso alloys with tyres weighed in at 20kg EACH! The new C5 rims with tyres are 7kg each less! amazing Got a little problem though... anyone else had this leak?? Hoping it will hold out till the new engine is done...thoughts?? RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - ozonehostile - 04-03-2013 id say veg has eaten one of the seals away. might start getting air in the pump soon RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 04-03-2013 think I already am!!! bugger just got a pump seal kit...but its for the new 11mm...looks like may have to break it out to keep this one going RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - ozonehostile - 04-03-2013 what a pita. get some pics up of your new 306, wanna see RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 04-03-2013 getting it tomorrow... RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - akuma406 - 05-03-2013 Great work! I look forward to the progress. . . RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 05-03-2013 got it...the donor car. very happy as its just a leaky rad no pics coz spent evening, all eve, just got in, trying to fix that pump leak... basically I am now running a 11mm pump as the 9mm broke. I lost a very important washer in gravel and a small piece broke... any ideas where to get tiny components of a bosch pump?! RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Tom - 05-03-2013 Speak to Dan! he can get most pump parts RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - akuma406 - 05-03-2013 Any picture of what you want? There is much difference in running with one plunger 9 10mm? In that engine, in 1.9 or 2.1? RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 06-03-2013 (05-03-2013, 11:28 PM)Tom Wrote: Speak to Dan! he can get most pump parts thanks.... which dan?! XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Parksy87 - 06-03-2013 'Dan!' RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 06-03-2013 thanks RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 06-03-2013 now running 11mm pump! 9mm pump fail! Will be rebuilding the 9mm into a 11mm for the 2.1 now....anyone got a tranny pump/head?? But to make me a bit less depressed royal fail delivered this today: WOOOHOOOO! Guesses to what it is??? (apart from a turbo!) RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Tom - 06-03-2013 Garrett GT something? RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 06-03-2013 aye...keep going RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Jonny81191 - 06-03-2013 GT20? RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 06-03-2013 hey hey...so warm... its a GT2056s hubbahubba RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Jonny81191 - 06-03-2013 Why are you not bolting it on already? RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - akuma406 - 06-03-2013 It makes my mouth water. . . Waiting to see the results. . . Its not a direct bolt on for the 1.9 I believe and its for the 2.1 anyway...so will need modding/mani changing RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Chris_90 - 07-03-2013 were did you get the turbo from? how much it set you back? keep looking on ebay for that model but carnt find any or im looking at wrong things lol RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 07-03-2013 haha! check out this site.... http://www.dieselevante.it/ helps find what cars/trucks turbos are on...I had to enquire a lot to get sellers to send me or tell me what was on the ID plate. Some want over £250....yeah...I didnt pay that! FYI...in three months of searching, I have only once got a result on searching for a 'GT2056S' RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - cwspellowe - 07-03-2013 Seach for CHRA number 714652, quite often helps as in standard application they come as 714652-5005 or 5006. A lot of scrappies sell it by the OEM part numbers or engine codes too. What's yours from? It has a different hotside to mine, mine was a triangular flange, yours seems to be the standard GT 4-bolt one. RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 07-03-2013 Yeah its looks like be nice to fit to be honest...although I need to get me a XM 2.1 manifold as the 406 one is ruddy awkward...the XM one is a 4bolt flange facing down and the 406 one is a triangular one pointing up!!! Its from a Iveco Daily 2.8 2003 model. I had best luck searching for the van itself, inc breaking and going from there.....want to know how much I paid?! RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - cwspellowe - 07-03-2013 Not really as i've spent over £600 on three of these I didn't find any Iveco ones for ages, had more luck with the Vaux/Renault range. Bonus was that all I needed was to drill and tap three holes in the mani to mount the blower. RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 07-03-2013 ...........wait for it........... £120inc postage, low millage, with 1month warranty...not that it will be fitted to make that worthwhile, but obviously they are sure of their parts RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - cwspellowe - 07-03-2013 That's a stonking price, suppose it helps that the Iveco's are a bit older. My first two were around the £150 mark in Vivaro fitment, warranties unfortunately don't mean shit when you do what we do with them RE: XTDT to GTDT via a 2.1 - Piggy - 07-03-2013 (07-03-2013, 02:49 PM)cwspellowe Wrote: That's a stonking price, suppose it helps that the Iveco's are a bit older.
