Not far from me and looks mint for £500, but its a tapper!

I imagine it must be worth repairing at that price for someone, if I had somewhere warm and dry to store it I'd be considering it myself!

Just thought someone on here may be interested. Smile

If only I had £500. Sad

Starting bid £500? Hopeful for a tapper. A proper rebuild is knocking on £1k, could alway take the chance on a second hand head but so many tappers have had head rebuilds only for the bottom end to go soon after.

I'd be surprised if it got many more bids than £500. I'd certainly steer clear as you can get gti's in good nick for well under £1k now. My gti only cost me £700 and that was after a full head rebuild.

Are they really that fragile? I was assuming you could just chuck a scrappy/ebay head on it and be fine, didn't know the bottom ends were weak too??

As said guys, if I had the space I would've more than likely bought it to either fix or break, but unfortuantely I don't and at this time of year can't really do much outside.
