XUD's don't need cats as they were made before they were compulsory. Also XUD's need only pass a smoke test at the MOT.

Mines a 97/98 r reg does it not have a cat then 1.9 non turbo

just ask the motor factors for a down pipe for a 94 straight diesel, i dont see why a TD pipe wont fit tho

it will bolt straight on but get a new fitting kit and clamp. only way to know if yours has got a cat is to look under it

Ill do that tommorow I thought that any car manufactured after a certain year had to have one 1992 stands out for some reason

well a 94 TD dose not have one as standard, and diesel cars have not got cat's there particle filters.

Yea, but i still think the flange will fit, just the pipe may be slightly larger

I was thinking more the length of the downpipe part of the cat, like a gti6 won't fit an xsi as the mani is different.

I think they are about the same length, on the TD there is the turbo but on the N/A there is the honey come manifold thing

Whilst diesels are only tested on particulates, most made in the last 15 years do have cats, and as of January 2012 any car fitted with a cat from the factory must have one present at the time of MOT. However I'm not convinced they can reliably tell, and it's not too difficult to find a sympathetic mechanic

NAD have different diameter pipe. I had a straight through mid pipe from one once thinking it was for a DT, wouldn't fit with my DT de-cat.

NAD's also have a different shape downpipe. You CAN get decats pipes though. Been there done that
... Makes a difference too with a bit of extra fuelling.

Follow the turbio diesel tuning guides, obviously you wont have a boost compensator or boost though.
Just phone round your local motor factors and ask for a downpipe for a '93 306 1.9D without cat.
