It will, it's what I have. The torsion bars are a bit on the soft side for it though.

No estates have bigger TBs and bigger ARBs than a gti to deal with the weight difference. What phase is the estate you have?

Late phase 3 HDI's have 21mm torsion bars, GTI6's have 20mm. They're ok, just too soft for my liking. Then again I have my own reasons why they're too soft...

A phase 2 meridian estate will have 20mm tb's the same as the gti only some late phase3 estated had 21mm so the gti beam will be fine

Don't know if its worth the hassle then may weigh the beam in with the car

the spec on servicebox for my estate says

the TB'S for the estate are listed as
DW10 RPO< 08882 20mm right 5150 59 left 5150 56
DW10 RPO> 08883 21mm right 5150 82 left 5150 81
the rear ARB listed for the estate are
18mm 5170 81
19mm 5170 80
20mm 5170 82
21mm 5170 84
