Cameras - Scott - 05-01-2012 Hey guys, a little short notice here and unfortunately I don't have a lot of time to do lots of research, but I'm back off to Canada again on Thursday (winnn) so I thought it might be an idea to get myself a camera to bring with me. I'm looking to £150, but am willing to pay a little more if necessary. If anyone has any suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated! Re: Cameras - Fooby - 05-01-2012 hate you. that is all i have to contribute to this thread Re: Cameras - Curt - 05-01-2012 For that sort of money, I'd say a Lumix of some sort. FZ28 if they're within budget, if not maybe an FZ18? They're bridge cameras, sort of half way between a compact and a DSLR. So nice and portable still, but with lots of settings to play with and epic zoom! I've got an FZ8 and it's excellent ![]() Re: Cameras - Scott - 05-01-2012 I've had a brief look into bridge cameras before, as to be honest for the use I'd get out of it, I don't think it'd be worth my money buying an SLR, but it'd be nice to have something a little better than your standard point and shoot. Cheers Curt, I'll look into those ![]() Re: Cameras - Fooby - 05-01-2012 but... pull your finger out? ![]() Re: Cameras - Curt - 05-01-2012 Yeah, they're definitely a good compromise mate. There's plenty of reviews and stuff for them about, all good as far as I remember... as I was going to get one before I got my Olympus. Haha, no worries ![]() Re: Cameras - 4WayDiablo - 05-01-2012 Fooby Wrote:but... pull your finger out?Repped... oh double wait |
