It's the xsi engine yeah? ![]() Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 04-01-2012 It is the XSi engine, rad's in good condition afaik, certainly works fine. GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Matt - 04-01-2012 Can I have it? ![]() ![]() Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 05-01-2012 Sure thing dude, don't know what they're worth, £15 reasonable? Let me know what you want from the engine cos I think I'm going to struggle to sell it in one piece. GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Matt - 05-01-2012 Sounds good to me ![]() ![]() Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 05-01-2012 Cool, well it's not like it's going anywhere lol. Text me as and when you remember stuff if you like, i'll make a pile, I mean, i'll neatly and carefully store each item in the approved manner. GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Matt - 05-01-2012 Things off the top of my head. Rad, head, thermostat, backbox (possibly) Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 05-01-2012 I'm not sure you want my backbox. There's a nice one in the garage though, would need some butchering to fit...? Meh, have a look when you're round, think you've probably seen it before anywho. GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Matt - 06-01-2012 The peco one? If I had a Welder I'd butcher it ![]() Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 08-01-2012 Provisionally reserved: Wishbones, droplinks, windscreen trim, side repeaters, lower engine mount, dash, bay loom, abs and loom, brake pipes, dash loom, rear windows, radiator (you may want to have a look first matt), thermostat, head, backbox (again, have a look). Springs, the looms and pipes would fetch a decent bit in scrap, so as long as you beat that i'm happy. Say £80 for everything you've mentioned on .net, is that reasonable? Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - springs - 08-01-2012 thats fine.. There is probably more i will need afterwards. Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Dum-Dum - 08-01-2012 Poodle I remembered the other bit i want. (as long as its in good condition as mines rusty as f*ck) Part 2 in this pic. Its the metal coolant hose that runs next to the block over the top of the gearbox. ![]() edit; although theyer not a terrible price brand new from peugeot. Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 09-01-2012 Cool beans  Pic fail dum-dum ![]() Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Poodle - 18-01-2012 Lots coming off of this now, should hopefully be able to complete most of the current orders by the weekend. Springs, i'm having trouble working out how to get some of the looms free without breaking anything, i promise i am actually doing something lol. This is definitely being broken now, could an admin change the title please? Cheers muchly. ![]() Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - springs - 18-01-2012 if you are having any problems let me know i might be able to help Re: GI: Breaking 306 Cabby - Dum-Dum - 18-01-2012 Poodle Wrote:This is definitely being broken now, could an admin change the title please? Cheers muchly. Done! but I think you can change them yourself on here. hows my engine mount LOL Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 18-01-2012 Oh yeah, so you can lol. Ta! Engine mount's getting there... ![]() I'll shout if i get stuck Springs, cheers. Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 22-01-2012 Dum-dum: Engine mount is out, was epically stuck to the drive-shaft, had to split the diff and take the whole thing out. Then my mate stood on it and I beat the solid end of the driveshaft with a big hammer for 5 minutes (and about 15 yards pmsl, we had to stop half way through and move it back away from the hedge) before it finally came out. I will be taking the engine out on Tuesday if you still fancy that top mount and want me to hang on with posting for a day..? Springs: Engine loom is out, as is the abs loom, rear windows were a pig but they're out. Need to buy some tools so i can do abs since i haven't got 9 or 11mm open ended spanners, so that plus the dash and loom will be coming out Tuesday. Will you be wanting me to courier or are you still coming down this way for work? Matt: Radiator is off, along with the 'stat and will be taking the head off the engine once it's out. Backbox will also be coming off Tuesday. I can deliver Thursday for fuel (£5 since it's the 106 lol ![]() Sorry this has taken so long, had much more work than expected this month and can't afford to turn it up. Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - springs - 22-01-2012 thats cool im sure the dash loom goes all the way to the boot etc.. I can pop down and pick it up at a weekend. ill have to get my bro to come down as i don't think the dash will go in the cab easily..? Breaking: 306 Cabby - Matt - 22-01-2012 How much am I looking at? ![]() Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 23-01-2012 Hahha, yeah maybe not. Well essentially what i'm doing is pulling out every piece of wiring from the car and putting it in a pile for you, so everything should be there lol. Don't know tbh Matt, depends which bits you want. If you're still after the whole lot, say £50 delivered, considering the condition of the box and radiator...? Breaking: 306 Cabby - Matt - 23-01-2012 I may go just the rad at the moment, then next payday get the head ![]() If I drive to yours wanna help me fit the rad? Lol Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 25-01-2012 Ha, yeah go on then. I'm free during daylight hours on Thursday or Saturday, any good to you? Otherwise you'll have to wait until after my holidayz. ![]() Breaking: 306 Cabby - Matt - 25-01-2012 Maybe Thursday but I'll check ![]() Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 25-01-2012 Thursday i've got dum-dum and a mate round too, should make it a mini meet lol. Breaking: 306 Cabby - Matt - 25-01-2012 Haha how long do you think it would take, I'll be free for a bit but need to be back at mine for 3 lol and would I need any new bits haha Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 25-01-2012 Could do with a new O-ring and obviously some coolant/antifreeze (think i've got some in the garage), but apart from that you're good. Could have it fitted up in about an hour or so/ Breaking: 306 Cabby - Matt - 25-01-2012 I have coolant, were could I get a o ring from? That would have it in stock? Could head up early so to get abit of extra time doing lol. As something is bound to go wrong lol Re: Breaking: 306 Cabby - Poodle - 25-01-2012 Sounds good fella, dum-dum's here for 10, i'll see if the motor-factors in romsey can sort us out when i'm there first thing. |
