Power steering Pp - Smiley69 - 17-10-2012

Evening Guys,

feelin like a newbie in the HDI section!

I have a query in the interior/exterior section (http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-7093.html) about the power steering Pp I'm removing from a '94 XRDT. It's on flea bay and a fella has asked whether it will be compatible with his W reg 1.9D (assuming this is a HDI) Pug 306.

Any help or advice would be great.

That's a non turbo diesel, hdis are all 2.0litre in 306s.

I'm not sure whether or not the pas things are compatible though.

Cheers for that Tom, I mistakenly thought all Ph3s were HDIs.

I thought all ph3s were HDi's too...

The 1.9D is in the same family as the 306 HDi - the DW10 - has the designation DW8, is pretty rare in these tbh.

NOT COMPATIBLE! According to GSF.

He has a DW8 engine.
