Interior fan plug - lolsteve - 27-09-2012

so my interior fans have been how to say..intermitent in the sense they kick in and out when they feel, sometimes when turning around a roundabout or going over a speedbump

I've known it was the plug for some time since a wiggle gets things moving again so decided today when the rain had stopped to get down there and take a better look and found the plug in this state

Now that to me looks like some burning, the black wire (earth?) also seems to have some oxidization around it as well. Now im not one for electrics, thats why I bought a hdi Hmm but could I just clean it up a bit and pop it back in or would a new plug be in order

Try cleaning it up abit and see how it goes.
My 205 had similar problems so I removed the fan yesterday and had a look but it turned out to the resistor.
