Hopefully some of you got the Ali G reference there.......

Anyway, erm, car batteries confuse me slightly tbh, and I'm not sure where I can find the info I'm looking for.

Basically, I'm thinking about getting a new battery for the 'state as I'm pretty sure the 1.8 petrol one won't have enough CCAs and probably won't last long - but what am I looking for? How many CCAs and AHs is good for a HDi?

And wheres the best place to get them? Halfords trade, or...?

Cheers,
Tom

Amps: 64AH Cold Cranking Amps: 640CCA Length (mm): 246 Width (mm): 175 Height (mm): 190

around that would be good
Eurocar parts have 15% on batterys at the moment code "BATTERY15"

Nice one, cheers Cully. Smile

Also, you get 25% off with forum discount. Wink

Means you get something like this for £65. http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Peugeot_306_2.0_2000/p/accessories-car-batteries/car-batteries/most-popular-car-battery/027-car-batteries/?444770278&0&cc5_997

Anyone know if it'd be cheaper at Halfords on trade?

Yes I googled it -

"lnk cr b82rez 2g4"

And that might work once Liam...but a few short journeys would kill it I reckon, anyway, not a problem now, Cully gave a helpful answer. Smile
