hot tuning on eBay are cheap as chips but don't expect a soft ride...

RE: coilovers wanted - the milkman - 11-09-2012

Ebay wanted stupid money for a shit set :/

RE: coilovers wanted - Curt - 11-09-2012

What do you class as "stupid money"?

RE: coilovers wanted - Ed Doe - 11-09-2012

FLOL, a 'decent' set of coilovers starts at about £1k a corner...

RE: coilovers wanted - the milkman - 11-09-2012

my mate had some off ebay that was 260ish and they were shocking!

RE: coilovers wanted - Curt - 11-09-2012

The ones Ed is talking about are around £160... They're good if you want low and adjustable but don't expect much else

RE: coilovers wanted - the milkman - 12-09-2012

Would a set of 6 springs lower it on the front?

RE: coilovers wanted - Ed Doe - 12-09-2012

Depends what 'it' is. For instance, a set of '6 springs on the QE2, and it'd probably be what the VAG boys call 'hella-flush' and the rest of the world know as 'broken'. But on anything else a stock set of '6 springs will actually raise the height, as the 6 engine is heavier than all other engines put in a 306.

Big lows on stock shocks don't do much good to the shocks...
