Is it possible to put this head and block together. Is it worth putting the effort in for the gains it will give? The 1.9 engine is the 105 bhp version and the 2.0 is a 305 xsi 8v engine.

Did the 205 have flat top pistons?

Would there be much point?

1900 and 1600 head is a good design, easy to see over 200hp with a 1900 with out even polishing it. get two head gaskets and check if they match, then check valve to piston clearances

This is why i have made this thread lol. There was a couple of different 1.9 engines on had 130 bhp but mine is the 105 bhp the reason is that my engine has a lower compression ratio so i was thinking that if i put the 2.0 bottom end on i should see a nice difference.

Think the low compression ones are from auto's, power steering kills 15hp of these. if yours is low comp, it will have flat top pistons. and il buy them off you if you are not going to use them
