Seems that we have a collective in-ability to think of anything for ourselves on this forum, so thought I would ask for help from the Massif' as it were.
So,
Nephew getting christened in a couple of weeks,
Need to get him a gift. Sister has said that people can make a donation but she can f*ck off if she thinks I'm stupid enough to give her cash, she'll just spend it on fags.
I need to get something thoughtful, but I can't be asked to do the thinking bit.
That's where you come in.

Christening gifts are usually something like a piece of jewellery like a pendant of something like an angel thing or a simple bracelet that they can keep

For our Christening, my brother and I both got a special photo album, a St Christopher necklace, a commemorative glass (fancy thing). If you go to an independent card shop or jewelers they should have some Christening gifts. How about something like a special bowl & spoon?
