If I spray normal black gloss paint on top of heat resistant paint what will happen?
Will it be ok or will it bubble etc

is the surface still going to be subjected to high temperatures? if so then yes. Heat radiates, so whilst your painting onto heat resistant paint, it will still conduct the heat through to your gloss...

Was rocker cover and heat shield. Just left it at the heat resistant
