The "Euro" look... - InkedMuttley - 27-07-2012 What actually defines the Euro style I mean I've seen plenty of cars driving around on stupidly small but Über-wide wheels and with copious amounts of smoothing etc yet still look fairly minimalist...but the Pug's I've seen don't look much different to be honest! The exception of course being cwspellowe's estate which is f*cking beautiful!!! The "Euro" look... - kentiiboii - 27-07-2012 Low,wide, deep, stretch, smooth and bright! IMO Obviously European too ![]() RE: The "Euro" look... - Matt - 27-07-2012 Massive dish, stupidly low, some mad colour scheme and smoothed to f*ck! RE: The "Euro" look... - Pete - 27-07-2012 Low, Wide an smooth pretty much cover's it. That said the "Stance" (bloody hate that word) scene is very similar IMO. My van get refered to as euro, though to me its not..its just lowered on wide wheels. RE: The "Euro" look... - Toms306 - 27-07-2012 Wheels too big, tyres too small and so much smoothing its impractical (no door handles!).....and that's pretty much euro..... RE: The "Euro" look... - Birk - 28-07-2012 Don't you like my estate ![]() RE: The "Euro" look... - kernow_joe - 28-07-2012 (27-07-2012, 10:45 PM)Toms306 Wrote: Wheels too big, tyres too small and so much smoothing its impractical (no door handles!).....and that's pretty much euro..... wouldn't say euro was big wheels ... ever!? wide wheels, smooth and low, so many sub scenes they're all pretty similar, personally I go for the "don't give a f*ck about scenes my car's bad ass" that sentence can be used in context to so much just swapping scenes and car's. Too big as in 'don't fit inside the arches' lol...... RE: The "Euro" look... - kernow_joe - 28-07-2012 ah ok, but I still disagree euro is tucked with dish not poked thats stanced .... RE: The "Euro" look... - Toms306 - 28-07-2012 Its all shit anyway ![]() OEM+ ftw. ![]() RE: The "Euro" look... - cwspellowe - 28-07-2012 I wouldn't say mines anything other than "stanced" to be honest. Don't agree with scene labelling, as soon as someone categorises something it means it's not really individual any more. "euro" has to have a load of boxes ticked, so many times I've seen the comment "not quite euro" being used. With the "stance" scene, as long as the fitments right you're free to do what the f*ck you want without anyone saying "oh it's not quite xyz". If a motor's tidy, it's tidy. Who cares where the door handles are, or why the wheels poke? If it looks shit hot, you've nailed it. Don't ask how to make your car something, dare to do what YOU want. If someone then labels it that's their prerogative. RE: The "Euro" look... - Pete - 28-07-2012 (28-07-2012, 03:37 PM)cwspellowe Wrote: If a motor's tidy, it's tidy. If someone then labels it that's their prerogative. Exactly the way it should be! Modifying is about doing something different. Some people will think it works other won't. But that's just opinions, to a point they matter as they'll help you decide what you want. But end of the day it's your car you do it as you wish. If you love it that's what matters. Tbh I think the hardest and best scene is oem everyday, yeah it's easy to have everything original but then at a show you have 1000s of cars all the same it's what you do with the oem stuff that make it stand out ![]() RE: The "Euro" look... - InkedMuttley - 28-07-2012 (28-07-2012, 08:04 AM)Birk Wrote: Don't you like my estate Don't recall seeing your estate Birky!!! Totally agree with that statement Joe, the Euro cars I've seen have usually been smoothed to f*ck and usually have something silly like MiniLite's or similar that are probably 12" and then double the f*cking width!!! That statement...almost brought a tear to my eye, dude I can almost see you stood on a podium giving us all the same talk proper Winston Churchill stylee!!! But seriously...I think I've found my desired look, smoothed as much as I dare (have a phobia about no door handles etc in case my battery dies haha!) with banded steelies and low 'n phat!!! |
