Bio in a lucas - Danny2009 - 22-07-2012 Im doing a long trip next week and bio near me is £1 a liter, i know veg kills them so im not bothering chucking that in. Will it run ok on bio wont kill it ? ill be 185 mile away from home so if it dies im fubared. Cheers ![]() Bio in a lucas - Jake - 22-07-2012 For the extra 28-32p a litre do you want to risk it? RE: Bio in a lucas - Danny2009 - 22-07-2012 I've got a bosch to go on next week so as long as it will get me there and back I'm nt too fussed RE: Bio in a lucas - Ruan - 22-07-2012 Don't put it in, the high methanol content inevitably in bio is what shags them... Also bio is much more hygroscopic than duno diesel and often contains water... Which does them no good, stick to dino diesel until the Bosch is on... RE: Bio in a lucas - lolsteve - 22-07-2012 Nothing wrong with well made bio, I've run my hdi on 50-100% bio for a while now although back to dino due to supply. Bad bio will kill though RE: Bio in a lucas - Danny2009 - 23-07-2012 Cheers lads ill put regular derv in till I get the bosch on then repped |
