I know on the 1.8, the revs used to pick up to about 1100rpm when turning the wheel on idle. Should the gti do this? Only realised yesterday mine doesn't do anything!

Mine does it when turning left. Picks up but only slightly

Is that because you can only turn the steering wheel left?

I just can't turn right!
Haha nah genuinely makes no difference if it goes right, only makes a slight noise if it turns left
