Opinion on yellow lights??? - Icywalts - 11-07-2012

yellow lights on a 306...as in vinyl over the original lights... i love them, but are they allowed some people say yes some say no...

RE: Opinion on yellow lights??? - mark_airey - 11-07-2012

Yes they are allowed, forward facing lights have to be white or yellow in colour IIRC, rear have to be red indicators have to be amber (obviously) Smile

Re: Opinion on yellow lights??? - samass - 11-07-2012

As said in other thread, 100% legal.
What fairy says, white or yellow Smile

Thats cool because i queried it on another thread a minute ago and wasnt sure? wanted to open it up to the group? i have always wanted yellow lights against my moonstone pug!!

i was looking at someone called samass and they looked the tits....

Yer i just complimented yours its epic!!

RE: Opinion on yellow lights??? - mark_airey - 11-07-2012

I considered doing mine a while ago and decided against it but I really think it looks good with the green sam, just not with my colour scheme! plus you have done it now so it wouldn't be different Tongue

Here's a rubbish photoshop I did ages ago, but there's your yellow and moonstone combo!

RE: Opinion on yellow lights??? - samass - 11-07-2012

phew, glad you went against it! i wanted to do it to my 106 fecking years ago, then i figured it'd work well with the green, so, win!

cheers icy, i say go for it! the shitty photoshop that the little twerp johnny8111818181818919181918101829320834 did gives a good idea, but it'd be a lot clearly, less cloudy, if you get what i mean?

I think the yellow would look alright against the moonstone plus i have a bonnet bra to break up the front a bit

I like Sam's against the green, but I don't think it'd work with Moonstone. IMO

RE: Opinion on yellow lights??? - Eeyore - 11-07-2012

They look great on chinas, shame it doesn't work too well when you start whiteing the rest of the car

RE: Opinion on yellow lights??? - sebanelli - 05-10-2012

Does anyone know if you can still get hold of the yellow bulbs (as used on cars in France until recently)? I've never seen them over here and bought/ fitted them to my Citroen CX Safari many moons ago when I went over for a day's shopping in the Auchan hypermarket in Calais. They looked and worked very well (especially in fog) and would love to fit them to my 306 if I could ever find them again.
