Insurance: oil catch tank - Niall - 15-12-2011 Now this is probably going to sound like a really stupid question but has anyone declared there catch tank to the insurance? I know it's not really a performance mod but at the end of the day it is a mod and I would rather be properly insured! Lol Re: Insurance: oil catch tank - Matt - 15-12-2011 Just phone them up, better to be safe then sorry Re: Insurance: oil catch tank - Scott - 15-12-2011 Might be worth it anyway, just make sure you emphasise that it's used to help maintain your car Re: Insurance: oil catch tank - 4WayDiablo - 15-12-2011 They want you to declare everything that has changed since it came out the factory so yeah i guess them bastards will want to sting you for something Re: Insurance: oil catch tank - Niall - 15-12-2011 Thing is there is no category for it to fall under. Like my inlet. They just put it down as air filters (which I was going to declare anyway) and added a note saying a new inlet had been fitted so hopefully they will just add it as a note. Anyway the way my cars going, I might as well just stick the oil breather into the filler cap! Yeah just floods the engine with oil! Pay very little for the actual car and stupid amounts in repairs. The peugeot earns your respect, but then blows it pretty soon after again |
