Emma's HDi - MrsMidnight - 30-05-2012 Felt I should probably post a thread up... As some of you know and as some of you don't know, I will be inheriting the HDi on June 15th ![]() http://www.306oc.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=59 <<---- Here's a link to it's old thread if you wish for a better read about it (sure most have read it anyway!) but if you can't be arsed to read the thread, here's a little run down of the car: - Apex suspension on the front (dropped around 35-40) - Boost gauge - Sportex straight through exhaust - De-cat - GAZ rear adjustable shocks - FMIC - Stage 2 map (RR at 154.5 ATF & 134.4 ATW) - Xsara mist jets - Cyclones - De-badged rear - Rallye blanks I think that's it... At the moment the car is on 118K! (clocked over on our way to a meet on sunday!) Needs a service though... As the car stands next to the 6' on our drive: ![]() My plans: - Fix boost leak (or get danny to!) - De-badge bonnet - Respray bonnet, front and rear bumpers - Re-furb cyclones and make purdy colours! - Get GTi-6 brakes - Lower it's ass And have a general tidy round of the car Future plans if kept for a loooooooong time: - Uprated clutch - Bigger turbo - R70 fuel pump - Custom re-map possibly by TB Cheers for looking! ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Eeyore - 30-05-2012 yay ![]() ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - 4WayDiablo - 30-05-2012 Next the the 6 it needs more lows IMO! Emma's first brum! :) - TheGateKeeper - 30-05-2012 Awesome car ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Andy - 30-05-2012 Woohoo... Go Emma. Like the todo list btw Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Midnightclub - 30-05-2012 Wonder who gave her those suggestions? :whistles: If I kept its what I would've done tbh! Emma's first brum! :) - Jake - 31-05-2012 Good stuff! My first car was a hdi too ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Dave26 - 31-05-2012 Nice first car, looks tidy and good plans! Re: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 31-05-2012 Thanks guys :-) And Phil, they both need lows! Re: Emma's first brum! :) - THE_Liam - 31-05-2012 Christ, wish some bugger would give me a HDI ![]() I've always liked this car, especially when it was on Speedlines  Re: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 31-05-2012 Haha I wish they would too! I did buy this from Danny lol how else would he be able to buy a 6'? Emma's first brum! :) - THE_Liam - 31-05-2012 You bought it off him? Damn, I bought Gen a car 2 years ago and she still hasn't learnt to drive ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - silverzx - 31-05-2012 This wouldn't of happened if it was a XUD! Looks like an ideal first car though. ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 31-05-2012 THE_Liam Wrote:You bought it off him? Damn, I bought Gen a car 2 years ago and she still hasn't learnt to drive Of course I did lol not one to expect Danny to buy me things or just give me something like a car lol that's just spoilt imo Kick her as into learning! Lol can't wait to be insured though... Haven't driven since I passed in August due to living alone costing lots lol And that's what I thought too Trent :-) Emma's first brum! :) - THE_Liam - 31-05-2012 I'm actually thinking about nicking her car for myself. It's a 205 1.6 auto, and it's actually cracking fun to drive, sat in my mates garage ready for an MOT ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Scott - 31-05-2012 I'm not sure how no one has commented on this yet, but I seriously can't be the only one who thought the title said "Emma's first bum!"?? ![]() Emma's first brum! :) - Matt - 31-05-2012 Hahahah I did Scott but chose not to comment hahaha Re: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 31-05-2012 I was awaiting for that comment! Thought about it after I posted...ah well lmao Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Jacko - 31-05-2012 I have some speedlines you could buy? ![]() What a great first car to 'inherit' ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 31-05-2012 Jacko Wrote:I have some speedlines you could buy? I'm good with the clones ![]() ![]() Re: Emma's first brum! :) - Dum-Dum - 01-06-2012 You gonna have to de-tune it to get insured on it or have you found somewhere thatll insure you on it? Re: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 01-06-2012 It's being slightly de tuned as I haven't driven for so long but I've found insurance for 900tpft with Danny still on the policy :-) RE: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 23-06-2012 She's finally on the road! Quick wash n wax today before the rain, treating her to claybar and decent wax for pugfest! <3 RE: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 19-09-2012 Soooooooo thought I'd finally put a little update in as I haven't since I got the car... Decided to finally refurb one set of clones ready for my car ! Spent a week sanding them down and preparing them ready for a final coat as the weather was nice and we were able to do everything outside as my mum wouldn't let me use the downstairs bathroom! One of the almost finished sanded down alloys: ![]() And one of the alloys complete! ![]() Not bad for an outside and rattle can job me thinks! Not been able to put them on the car for a month sadly as been awaiting to have money for 2 new tyres... 2 brand new michelin PE2's arrived today!!! f*ck YEAH! £102 delivered wooop woop ![]() Just need to get them fitted and on they go finally! The car has also had a part service... got all the bits and have changed the fuel filter, just need to do the oil and oil filter but the weather is shit when were home and amazing when were working, perfect! Car is soon to hit 121k soon! Bought it on 118k... I think I drive a lot... RE: Emma's first brum! :) - Arron - 20-09-2012 Wheels look sweet.... any under bonnet pics?? RE: Emma's first brum! :) - puglove - 20-09-2012 Good job on the wheels but................... White on silver? RE: Emma's first brum! :) - samass - 20-09-2012 White on silver works, white is like cranberry sauce. Goes with everything. RE: Emma's first brum! :) - Curt - 20-09-2012 I'll be honest I thought the same as Jamie... They're both too neutral IMO RE: Emma's first brum! :) - Midnightclub - 20-09-2012 Theyll hopefully be getting a pink lion soon so should help add a dash of colour, they look much better on the car IMO RE: Emma's first brum! :) - MrsMidnight - 24-09-2012 Right... JUST had them fitted to the car so here are some piccies!! ![]() ![]() opinions welcome, although they are yet to have a pink lion! |
