EGR crap - pug306driver - 23-11-2018

Please could someone advise if the egr system causes one particular inlet track in the head to "foul up", or become blocked ?
or do they all become fouled more or less to an equal extent?

From what I've seen it's fairly equal. It also gathers on the valves too.

Thanks, yes, i have come across a heavily deposited inlet valve from a ford petrol engine, that valve being closest to the crank case ventilation system inlet into the inlet manifold. The amount of crap that came off it was large and the weight difference compared to a valve next to it was quite a lot.

would anyone have a cam cover off at the moment, i would like to know what device if any is under the round "dome" right by the vent hose to the air intake pipes.
