Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - kingy - 08-03-2012

not going to say that these look mint jim cause at the minute they dont. when they are sprayed then they will look the dogs. i think your doing the right colour jim lad as long as you dont go to bright. if you want to stand out from the rest then slamming your car on 14 inch orange bandeds is deffo the way to go. get em sprayed, get some black stuff round em, stick em on your car and lets have a look mate. so looking forward to seeing this. when you having your bumper done and are you going all the way with it or are you pussying out and still having a reg plate recess? lol

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 08-03-2012

Cheers mate. Ye they guy said he forgot to spray them so they need to be sent back again.

The bumper is already smoothed and has the number plate recess in it. Will be getting it next month!

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Dan! - 16-04-2012

YES Jim, finally. Personally id have gone for orange centers then maybe white black or polished lips, but they do look good! What widths are they and what size tyres? Smile

As always let me know what you think! I am extremely happy with how it is looking now. Maybe the front could go a little lower but the coilovers are all the way down already.

The fronts are 7.5j. Rears are 8j, all with 195/45/14 tyres.

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Connor - 16-04-2012

Thought you had died or something lol Needs other orange bits now though

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 16-04-2012

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 16-04-2012

My 1.4 China project!!! - MarkTD - 16-04-2012

They look awesome!!!!!! And there looks to be abit of stretch on them?

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 16-04-2012

Haha just a bit of stretch!

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Dan! - 16-04-2012

Feppic! One of my top 306's now I think. Don't go too mad with other orange bits, fans and tow hook sound good and will keep it subtle! Wink

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 16-04-2012

Thanks for the comment Dan, means a lot! Haha dw I plan to keep it simple and smooth!

Maybe orange masked headlights? Just been given the idea by another member?!

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - kingy - 16-04-2012

when ya getting ya bumper done?

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 16-04-2012

Sacke diff the bumper now. Don't have the funds. Nearly £1150 in my overdraft! Just going to be a few small mods here and there from now on!

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - kingy - 16-04-2012

still looks stunning. well done mate. shame your with club @ fcs. could have parked next to each other.

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Bananalad - 16-04-2012

As you said another bit lower at the front and it will be perfect, i always wanted to deck my diablo 5 door but the furthest i got was a photoshop then i sold it lol

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Foxy-jim - 16-04-2012

I've got a few other bits to sort before I get round to that. I don't think it looks disastrous as it is! As said just want to try and save a bit of money now, and get out the overdraft! I will just enjoy driving it for a while!

Cheers kingy!

Re: My 1.4 China project!!! - Garlicbread - 17-04-2012

It looks sick in the flesh! as said by other people a tad lower on the front and it will be perfect!

This just makes me want another set of wheels now lol

If you want a hand with anything just give me a shout Smile
