Fuel pump no prime car cut out - Welshy_Pete - 15-05-2018

I was driving this morning about 15mins then the car started to cut out I thought straight away the fuel pump.

It was a few weeks ago on a very hot day. I had to press the red botton inside engine to re set fuel pump not sure why. It worked after that but today it's stopped priming.

This fault code come up lp fuel pump?

306 hdi thanks[Image: 3272088b29dd1ad4cad9bbcc5e297842.jpg]

Have you tried bridging out the red button, might not be the pump itself?

so long as you are aware it's an impact sensor to cut the fuel supply in a crash.

Literally just unplug it and put a wire/unbent paperclip into the two pins. This is purely for testing the switch and not a long term solution as it's a safety feature as above.
