Ball joint/ Hub to strut pinch bolts - Uberderv - 03-01-2018

I am doing the bearing (on the right side this time lol) and want to replace the two pinch bolts. Does anybody know the sizes needed? I will be using 12.9 cap heads so need the length of the plain shank too. ?

Check ebay. They do them. Brand new in pairs.

Cheers geezers. Further research has come up with-

BJ pinch bolt-M10x55 with a 20mm shank.

Strut Pinch bolt-M10x65 with a ..... shank.

Will update when I find out more.

Iirc I paid £3.50 Inc postage for a pair.

I was happy with that

Servicebox lists the BJ pinch bolts as M10 x 50mm (for HDi estate).  Also 50 on the XSi (18mm BJ's) & they're plenty long enough - replaced them recently.

Strut pinch bolts listed as 65mm length.

If you want a smaller qty and to upgrade to 10.9's this site is pretty good. Have ordered quite a bit from them now without any issues. Also, if you need anything in fine or extra fine thread, it's worth giving them a bell as they can supply stuff not listed on the site.

This site is pretty good too.
