dont know if people saw the pics of it before, but here they are, he payed £400 for it bog standard, and has spent £1050 in a few months

that wasnt long after he got it,

but now the 106 sold he spent some money on it getting the damage repaired and the wheels done with new tyres

and stole my ph3 bumper Sad

looks good! Those alloys are such a massive improvement over harriers. Makes it look so much more modern! Just needs some crystals on it. I may have a pair Wink

Yh we trying to get some crystals, and be wants a new bonnet because this one is too fooked to repair. He wants it lower now lol but he's getting a lot of scrubbing allready. :d

not the same wheels, AFAIK yours are bk wheels? these are konigs
and he said he aint interested in the car, not really any use on a lucas

Did he have the exhaust fabricated or is it a simple bolt on jobby if you can let me know where he had it done etc or whether he's stripping it I'd be happy to part with a few shiny tokens for the 'Zorst

Now back to the car on the a47 waiting for the aa, now we have looked, might not be a rod, its just spat its oil out behind the alternator bracket Confused gonna pull the engine the see. If its dead drop a new one in. As for the exhaust, its a magnex backbox that I welded onto it

no obvious holes in the block, but no oil pressure at all yet a neerly overflowing sump

so we kept it running

we gonna strip it once we get another engine to swap everything
but bro did want to remove the engine to fit new turbo FMIC and bosch, so worked well
but the pump is comming this week then goin to dan! for gov mod, but i dont know if your lot saw his FB, that aint gonna happen now.

well some thing has tryed to escape the block.
bro removed the alternator bracket to find a hole the size of a 10p. so not the useual conrod failure many holes in the block :S
but will have to wait till the sump comes off

We think its conrod fail, its a dhy 165k stock boost, and the slightest tune ever on a lucas. But gonna go get another block at the weekend then start the bosch,t2 de-wastegated, fmic estate beast Big Grin

well were going to get a engine at the weekend,
hes just ordered:
cambelt kit
water pump
inlet/exhaust gasket
gm sealer for sump
various other gaskets
reducer elbow 2">2.25" for turbo
2.25" intercooler kit with some other bends
2x 12"slim fans
hopefully we can get it fitted and running next sataurday ready for fcs because we are waiting on the pump to turn up, and have send the exhaust mani in for the egr to be welded but once we get the 406 inlet thats got to go in, but he can knock that out in half a hour.

so going to be a mad rush to get it running as he doenst want to miss another show in it because thats the reason hes spent neerly £1500 on it to make it a tidy motor.
