Central locking - rocker8742 - 17-04-2017 Hi guys, never have managed to get the original remote central locking to work on the 6 so have always used the key in the drivers door. Recently noticed though that when I do this it only unlocks the drivers door and I have to pull the lock up on the passenger door which unlocks everything else. Unfortunately can't try the key in the passenger door as the lock is mangled Any ideas of what's causing this? I know the drivers door loom is a bit dodgy maybe something in there? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk RE: Central locking - cully - 17-04-2017 door loom would be a good starting point RE: Central locking - Frosty - 17-04-2017 I would say sounds like a door loom issue, pop the door and and have a good look at the wires. Central locking - rocker8742 - 18-04-2017 Definite door loom, unlocked and opened the door today and everything unlocked when the door was half open Anyone know if the door open switches are prone to fail or where to get replacements? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Central locking - cully - 19-04-2017 ph2 have pin switches that fail signs of this are interea light dont work ![]() RE: Central locking - Eeyore - 19-04-2017 ive got issues with my loom. Havent driven the rallye in over a week and it still locks and unlocks completely randomly now and again. Need to sort it out soon. Anyone got a supply of looms? RE: Central locking - Frosty - 19-04-2017 Don't think you can get new looms from peugeot anymore unless you can find somewhere with some old stock. In the pass i have just used decent 2nd hand ones. Central locking - rocker8742 - 20-04-2017 Yeah interior light doesn't work all the time either lol TBH I'd be more than happy if I could just find the plugs and pins from somewhere else Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Central locking - rocker8742 - 21-04-2017 Guessing this is the door open/closed switch ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Central locking - Mighty306 - 21-04-2017 Yep, it is. Also hooked up to buzzer that warns you that head lights have been left on. Contacts on switch become corroded as does earthing point (where it screws on to car body). Pattern ones are available on eBay. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/291261170290?_mwBanner=1 If you take old one out to try to clean it or replace with new make sure you secure the connecting lead to stop it disappearing inside the door pillar ....it's an absolute b***ard to retrieve. Central locking - rocker8742 - 21-04-2017 Thanks for the tip lol just found them on eBay From pug: 636678 @ £6.50 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Central locking - cully - 21-04-2017 £3.90 delivered here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Citroen-ZX-XM-ZX-BX-C15-Saxo-Xantia-Synergie-Door-Light-2-pin-Switch-636678-/142187322278?hash=item211b065ba6:g:p0gAAOSwal5YNFzn |
