Hi all,
In the process of buying a 306 so though I'd introduce myself,
Having owned countless MK4 Golfs for the last 5 years I have finally got bored of them and moving onto to something French, Can't honestly think of any French cars I like other than the 306, I did buy a 106 Quicksilver in the past for £120, probably the most fun I've had a car to date, pulling the handbrake at 50mph leaving 11's with a cloud a smoke is always a laugh.
After seeing Darren's project and Astor 306 it's made me want one, the cheap repairs is probably the main draw to have one.
I currently still have and will always keep my Golf R32, but i'll be looking to sell my MK4 TDI to make way for this one.
Paid a deposit on an Astor grey and hopefully collecting at the weekend.
Expecting it will need a bit of work so I may start a 'build thread' of some sort.
Hopefully see some of you at some meets and shows.

youre probably just lucky. Fairly sure there is a 306 owner called ash on another 306 forum! Welcome to the club. Youll be right at home down there with darren and folk.
