206 2.0 HDI clutch - DeeTurbo - 16-12-2016 I was driving my gf 206 and I've found that the clutch biting point is very high. It's a hydraulic clutch so I don't think it can be adjusted? I replaced the clutch a couple of year back and there hasn't been many miles put on it since. Is there a way to adjust the clutch biting point? RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - Piggy - 16-12-2016 Nope, automatic RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - bashbarnard - 16-12-2016 as piggy says there is no way of adjusting it. RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - DeeTurbo - 16-12-2016 Bugger, thanks guys RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - mr_fish - 19-12-2016 Slave cylinder on its way out? Pull back the rubber cover and see if it's damp. RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - DeeTurbo - 19-12-2016 Slave is good. Sorry my description is a bit shit I meant really low as is in you push it down and the bite is almost where you release the peddle, if that makes sense? I would prefer it to be higher, nearer the floor. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - welshpug - 19-12-2016 try bleeding it. RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - Piggy - 19-12-2016 Ah that sounds more like air in system as above RE: 206 2.0 HDI clutch - DeeTurbo - 19-12-2016 Good shout, I hadn't even thought about it like that. That makes a lot more sense, I'll give it a go. |
