planning on lowering the front by 30mm soon. (1.8 16v) read so many threads recently regarding this just got myself well confused.
is the (1.8 16v) a sports suspension if so would a decent lower spring work ? or would i be better off going kyb/bilsten struts ?
not building a rocket racer just a decent ride ... maybe one or two gentle track days.

I have bilstein b12 kit on my 6 it's pretty comfy ride and 30mm lower too

I don't know if the 1.8 16v is sports suspension, i don't think so... Highly recommend the b12 kit, but i know you're on a budget so i'd actually not bother unless there's a problem with your current shocks.

Depends if it's a 1.8 meridian or a 1.8 xs. If it's the xs the suspension should already be decent. If you're tight but want it a bit lower I would just stick some eibach springs on for the 30mm drop.

cheers Eeyore its a 16v meridan
