THE GRAND TOUR - bashbarnard - 16-11-2016

NOW, i know this isnt for everyone but i miss these bunch of idiots and have already paid for prime so i get to watch them again. Im really buzzing for it. The advert looks epic and this is partially the reason i miss them, just the banter

read the comments section afterwards. poor blokes getting ripped on

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - 1616six - 16-11-2016

I can't wait!

I'm working at the NEC on Friday & hoping I can get back at a decent time to watch it.

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Eeyore - 16-11-2016

Looks like I'm going to have to buy prime... Or borrow it... Anyone willing?

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Mattcheese31 - 16-11-2016

Isn't there a free month trial available? Smile

Yes there is, but the amount of stuff i buy off amazon its not worth the hassle, had tools, lowering springs, cat food, ferret food all off them plus many little bits. Love a good bit of prime it pays for itself fairly quickly in my house hold so technically the grand tour is free

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - 1616six - 16-11-2016

Same as bash.

I still can't get my head around the fact they deliver next day even Sundays!

Yup. ordered brake fluid at 3pm Saturday once...was desperate...arrived 10am sunday.

Plus recent bargain find on a condenser has paid for itself.

Ideal for country chap like me

Excited to see what this is like!

Some of those comments on YouTube..  Rofl

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Orta - 17-11-2016

Fiver a month is a bargain tbh...just ensure you order at least one thing a month using the prime postage and it's paid for itself

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Eeyore - 17-11-2016

well i bought it for £59... im a slave to the corporations...

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Dum-Dum - 17-11-2016

I'm going for the free trial option first cos I'm a tight Scott

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - chylledapps - 17-11-2016

Prime is great, well worth the spend and can share with someone at same address. Being London based I now do the 1 hour grocery thing when low on booze as well

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Eeyore - 17-11-2016

i ahve to say that im underwhelmbed by the video and music offering.

tv and film selection on there is absolute pants compared to netflix - maybe better to come. Grand Tour (TGGGG) is their only killer app imo

delivery is bang on though, love amazon delivery despite the guilt of how its achieved

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Eeyore - 17-11-2016

yep delivery and the grand tour is the only reason ive bought it...

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Niall - 17-11-2016

Their tv is good I think but then of course that's down to personal opinion on what you like. Still a bargain for £59 when you consider the delivery you get!

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Piggy - 17-11-2016

They keep reminding me about the movies... I must have TRIED to use prime to watch a film 100 times... Not once have they got the film I wana watch!

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Eeyore - 18-11-2016

Watching it now! What an opening!

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Eeyore - 18-11-2016

Finished. Yeh pretty good. Like old top gear but on a bigger budget. Felt a bit forced at times.

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Dum-Dum - 18-11-2016

I agree, felt rather forced at times but what an opening sequence.

I like the fact that it answered why the locals were complaining about clarkson's house being blown up a couple of months ago.

THE GRAND TOUR - zx_volcane - 18-11-2016

Glad to see them all back on the TV, as good as could be expected - much better than Chris Evans and Eddie Jordan. Though I do have big love for Chris Harris

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - Frosty - 18-11-2016

Is there any way to watch it other than on amazon prime?

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - 306carter - 18-11-2016

I've just watched it. Just like the old Top Gear, brilliant in my opinion.

The opening was epic, as too the production ect. Yes at times they tried too hard but with out doubt worth watching.

RE: THE GRAND TOUR - ginge191 - 18-11-2016

I'm 10 minutes in - and I feel it's a huge dig at the BBC - a statement of capital if you will.... "look what we can do", nonetheless, still epic

There's a dodgy stream doing the rounds on facebook.
