Wheel nuts - BoldieRob - 04-08-2016 Can someone help me and tell me what wheel nuts I need to fit cyclone alloys ??? RE: Wheel nuts - BiG K - 04-08-2016 Tapered Bolts... Do not use flat seated iirc RE: Wheel nuts - bashbarnard - 04-08-2016 (04-08-2016, 07:32 PM)BiG K Wrote: Tapered Bolts... Do not use flat seated iirc wrong, well mostly flat seated to fit clones. the later ones had flat seated taper that you can just use the flat seated type on as well. hope it helps RE: Wheel nuts - cully - 04-08-2016 clones use flat seated bolts! there are two types of clones early/late early clones take parallel threaded flat seated bolts later clones take stepped parallel flat seated bolts later bolts will NOT fit early clones early bolts fit both types of clones more info here http://306oc.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?tid=17363&pid=329124#pid329124 RE: Wheel nuts - BoldieRob - 05-08-2016 (04-08-2016, 07:52 PM)cully Wrote: clones use flat seated bolts!Where's the best place to buy them ?? RE: Wheel nuts - cully - 05-08-2016 forums, facebook, peugeot RE: Wheel nuts - PocketFighter - 05-08-2016 hmmm i'm a little worried now... as i've fitted my clones straight on, but didn't have any idea about the nuts issue? i'm assuming mine are ok being they have gone straight on and bolted up? RE: Wheel nuts - Toms306 - 05-08-2016 Swallow bolts are also flat seated, you should be fine Pocketfighter. Rob, which wheels do you currently have? A 1.9 HDi doesn't exist so I can't work it out from your car spec lol. The alloys all come with flat seats, steels come with tapered. As for where to buy them - not Peugeot unless you're feeling rich, the chromed bolts cost £6 each!! RE: Wheel nuts - BiG K - 05-08-2016 You learn something new every day I guess.... why must Peugeot make everything so complicated!? lol RE: Wheel nuts - BoldieRob - 05-08-2016 (05-08-2016, 08:54 AM)Toms306 Wrote: Swallow bolts are also flat seated, you should be fine Pocketfighter. Sorry 2.0 liter and got steels on. I rang Peugeot and it came to £64 !!! RE: Wheel nuts - Toms306 - 05-08-2016 Bargain, they must've dropped in price since I had to buy some...albeit 7 years ago now! Ebay or facebook you can probably get a set posted for £20 give or take. |
