Slimline Fan Wiring - Eeyore - 27-05-2016 Hi Guys, Being a little lazy here but after opinions and advice. Previously I had a fuse, single relay and one medium size slim line fan. This was all good and worked well. Now on the rallye I have 1 fuse, 1 relay and two medium fans. Should I have two relays or not? I guess i need to check the rating of the relays? Sam RE: Slimline Fan Wiring - cully - 27-05-2016 answered your own question or run a separate fused supply and relay for each fan RE: Slimline Fan Wiring - insomaniac45 - 27-05-2016 Tbh, it would be much better to run them independently. that way if a fuse pops, or relay burns out you still have 1 fan. RE: Slimline Fan Wiring - Niall - 27-05-2016 You can run two fans independently on the Omex so you could have one for low temp and the other kick in as well at high temp. This would require 2 relays. I always ran mine together on one and never had issues. |
