206 GTI 180 - MY95 - 09-04-2016

So guys, these are mega cheap, quick and look really nice in Aegan Blue!
What are they like to drive? Supposedly not as good gearbox as the 6 but supposedly as quick and go round corners as well, what mpg can I expect, more reliable than a GTI6? Any cheap gains in bhp etc?
Cheers

I paid £450 for an Aegen blue one with 59k on an 03 plate, awesome fun.. VVT IIRC? Fun to drive, seats on the 180 are great. MPG wise sat at 31-32 when driven sensibly.

Thats a steal! Yes VVT, sure pebbles/someone else can verify that, they soubd great even as standard! Seems to be around the 30 mark mixed driving on the 206 owners club, slightly better than a 6 then mpg wise, better build quality etc too Smile dont think id be driving it sensibly though haha

How did you find one so cheap, they were more expensive than the RS Renaults when I looked.

Just kept an eye on Gumtree, had short MOT but only needed a tyre & a wishbone so for another £80 I had it back on the road with a full ticket.. bonza.
