Hi Guys,
I hope this is the right place to post this. I have a part that is broken on my car and I'd like to replace it but I'm not entirely sure what it is called. I think it is a resonator. I found the following diagram on the internet and the part I am interested is labelled no 27. In the key to the diagram it refers to it as a resonator. Is that right?

Does appear to be a resonator. I didn't realise the NA diesels had them though, thought it was only the GTi's lol.

yes, it'll quieten it down a fair bit.
