Xantia 1.8 16v key/immobiliser - Piggy - 22-02-2016
Friend has a Xanita 16v, 35k on the clock. Immaculate engine bay/interior.
He lost the only key.
Got a new one cut with the code.
Guy came along to program it in...but it wouldnt let him...
Any ideas?!

He should've probably had a spare cut before that happened...
I think you use the original key while programming the new one in PP/Lexia. Does he not have the code card either?

Eem...he hasnt got the original dood. Hence the issues!

Used these guys a few times when I wanted to program a new key and not having the blue immo code card
Whether its any good in your situation

I think you only need either the key or code is what I meant, has he tried Citroen directly?

Ah yeah, I live 10 mins from Citroen so didn't think about that.
